Maintenance Technician in Denver, CO

bJob Classification b Contract A highly reputable manufacturing, shipping and distribution company for safety products is seeking a results-oriented Maintenance Technician. Located in Broomfield, Colorado Main responsibilities - Maintains and repairs dispensing machines, hydraulic presses, and support equipment. - Maintains a maintenance log on all equipment. - Assists Maintenance Supervisor with the minimum-max stock system to ensure spare parts and maintenance supplies are always on hand. - Assists the Utility Operator with daily preventive maintenance as needed. - Performs all other preventive maintenance as scheduled by the checklists. - Fabricates basic jigs and fixtures including support equipment for production. - May assist in design of new setups. - Will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a timely and orderly manner. - Appears accessible to production personnel during all shifts, after hours, weekends and holidays via cell phone. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Usage of electrical test meters and other calibration devices. - Reading blueprints and utilizing measuring devices such as calipers and gauges. - Welding and fabrication of production and shop devices, jigs, fixtures. - Expertise to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in written form. - Expertise to understand and follow written and oral instructions. - Expertise to stand, stoop, kneel, or sit for long periods of time. - PLC programming an extra plus Benefits are available immediately including life, health, dental, vision and 401k options.
