Dana Design ArcFlex Terraplane X Internal Frame Backpack in Denver, CO

Dana Design ArcFlex Terraplane X Internal Frame Backpack

Bomber very tough Cordura backpack that can carry large loads easily and in great comfort. Volume is approximately 6,000 cubic inch. I have carried up to 75 pounds with it, and I have heard of others who carried 90 pounds with this pack.Dana Design makes superior packs that last forever. It is basically a top loading pack but has 2 size zippers for access to the main compartment as well as another near the bottom for sleeping bag, etc. It also has 2 large zippered long side pockets that can carry quite a bit of gear. The large zippered lid can be removed and attached to the removable hip belt as a day pack. Daisy chain attachments, dual ice-ax loops, crampon patch on lid for sharp items, lots of attachment points for tying things on. Internal and external compression straps to stabilize load. Very comfortable hip belt. The pack cost $469 new, plus I purchased an optional BeaverTail Shovit that attaches to the front for carrying shovel, snow shoes, snow board, etc. One of the photos has it attached with snow shoes behind it.It is in very good to excellent condition. Not used all that much. I had one minor little cut from an ice-ax or crampon (can?t remember exactly) that I had professionally sewed. You can see in one of the photos. I still have the owner?s manual for it.I am 5?8? and 140 lbs. The torso length will fit someone around my size, but is very adjustable. The hip belt position can move up and down (I have it the shortest), and the shoulder strap position is also adjustable. Please feel free to ask questions, etc.
