Sheet Metal Technician in Denver, CO

We are looking for an experienced, skilled, sheet metal technician to work in the automotive restoration industry. Must have own tools, be able to work some Saturdays, have a good attitude, and work in a team. You must be very good mechanically and be good at engineering and problem solving.Our company restores classic and vintage cars to original and also does custom builds.ResponsibilitiesRepair body and/or structure of car according to original shapesFabricate new sections of sheet metal to replace damaged and rotted areas, using English wheel, plannishing hammer, power hammer, hammer and dolly, roller, folder, etc.Create and use jigs to make one-off panelsFabricate panels from steel and aluminum that are not available as reproduction, i.e. shape work Weld, TIG and MIG, as required to make repairsMetal finishingClean up dailyOccasionally you will disassemble vehicles while keeping parts and accessories organized. Also, be able to assemble car efficiently.RequirementsAt least 5 years sheet metal fabrication experienceKnowledge of the physical properties and working characteristics of sheet metal Knowledge of welding techniques, TIG and MIGCustom jig building and chasingAttention to detailHigh School Diploma or equivalentPhotographs of your workmanship
